Doc was rescued with nine other kittens. All the little kitties were lovingly raised and are ready for adoption!
All the kittens are FeLV/FIV negative, had all their shots (including FelV/FIV, Distemper and Rabies) been wormed and are spayed and neutered.
All the kittens are litter trained, vary in temperament & personality and have been raised on a variety of food so as not to become picky!
If you would like to help with Doc or any of his pals, but cannot adopt at this time, consider a donation. Click on the following link to be redirected to Paypal Donations:

Thank You!

Libby is Doc's sister! She has been a suprise to us - from the time she was bery little, she was the one who avoided my advances at all costs! She was clearly not interested in being a friend to any human! Then one day she decided she wanted to try it out - she loved it so much, she kept coming back for more! She has learned to enjoy human company quite a lot, and welcomes lots of petting and playing. While she enjoys attention, she doesn't require it like some needy, insecure kitties - which makes her interesting combination. She can keep herself busy or take part in the group romp. Libby would really like to have her very own person.

CONGRATS, APOLLO!
New Family & New Home, June 27, 2009
We wish you all the best!
Apollo is Doc's brother - isn't he good lookin'?! He is affectionate, and plays gently. He seems to be wise and perhaps has an "old soul"...Apollo's charm isn't only in his beautiful face, but is also in his sweet personality. He gets along with everyone and isn't pushy about anything. He'll be a special edition to anyone's family!

Doc's other sister, Mia, is the nurturer in the family. She really enjoys being outside, although she is friendly and curious inside. She would be a great barn cat along with her brother, Frodo (see below). She always looks out for her siblings, gives them baths and has great "street smarts"! She loves being pet and will roll over for you to show you her belly. She is the only girl who can match Frodo's rough play, and Frodo sometimes gets beat by her! Affectionate, not demanding.
Doc's brother, and Mia's sidekick - Frodo was the runt of this litter, and we didn't know if he would make it through the first couple of weeks of his life. But he thrived and is now the big boy! He's very playful and loving, and like Mia, he loves to be outside. He has "street smarts" as well, and he would really enjoy going to a home with Mia. She watches out for him when he does something silly! Frodo does everything in slow motion, and if he had a thought-bubble above his head, it would say, "Hey, Man...it's cool."

REST IN PEACE, Little BeBe
On January 14, 2010 near 8:30pm, our little girl was hit by a car on the road outside our home. This loss has crushed my heart in a way I cannot describe. Her companionship was sheer joy in my life, and watching her grow from the day she was born was a privilege I did not deserve. She overcame a number of obstacles to make it to 9 months of age, and her premature departure is a bitter pill to swallow.
Bianca, I am so sorry I wasn't there that night. I know if I had been, you would have been safe and warm snuggled with me on the couch or playing with the blue tinsel on the Christmas tree. I will regret this series of choices until we see each other again.
Sleep well, Little One. Your life was precious to at least one human on this planet.

Bianca comes from another litter, and she is the princess of the group! She is very girlie and feminine, and is very kind to other kitties. She trusts everyone instantly and is confused when another big cat hisses at her because she just wants to be friends. Bianca is tender and sweet, cuddly and loving. She loves affection, and she was the first to discover her voice - which she thinks is very pretty! She doesn't have a diva attitude like some princesses, but is more refined and proper in her carriage. Bianca doesn't like to get her feet dirty, so she really wants to be an indoor cat. She is a true little lady. She reminds us of a ballerina - delicate, feminie, dainty yet strong and graceful.
Oh, and she is in love with Doc!

Bianca's brother, Griffey, Jr. is a fiesty, hard-playing, rough boy and the biggest of the group! At 5 1/2 months old he was already 8.4 lbs! He's a funny boy - full of spunk and fire - truly enjoys wrestling with everyone and is the last to slow down. He is loving too, and very affectionate when he has settled into a nap, but watch out - he'll be ready to play again in no time! He is quite confident in himself and clearly smart, and he is nice to everybody. He will crawl into your lap and flop his head and legs over the sides. He especially likes to sleep in the sink, so be sure to put a nice, soft, cozy towel in there for him!

Sleak and Sporty - Lexi can get lost in the shuffle because she doesn't ask for much. Shy and reserved - she is a little tentative and quick movements and loud noises scare her...but if you comfort her and encourage her, she will learn quickly that it is safe. When she knows you better, she will ask you to rub her back and tail and will roll around and purr while you pet her! She needs a little time to learn that you are safe and loving, and when she trusts you, she will give you her all and is the most affectionate of them all. She will want to nap as close to you as she can get - on your lap, chest, shoulder, neck or cradled in your arms. She loves to play with her brothers and sisters and would be great going to a home with one of them. She might do really well with a retired couple or a single person, but she will thrive if she has a furry friend as well as her person. Lexi is an expert climber and quick as lightning!

CONGRATS, DIESEL!
New Home & New Family - July 25, 2009!
We Will Miss You & We Wish You Much Love!
Diesel's new name is "Diego"!!
This big boy is truly BIG! Somehow Diesel outgrew everyone very quickly, and like a Mack Truck, he needs a lot of fuel to keep him going! He is a gentle giant, though, and might shy away at first. Like his sister, Lexi, he needs to know that you are safe, and when he learns, he will look for your attention. He loves to play rough, and he is very talented at gymnastics displaying aerial twists and turns, back flips, front flips and all sorts of flips! Diesel isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the tool box and will get lost in his own back yard..he is a guy who needs to be handled with care, and he will be completely devoted to the person who gives him this kind of commitment...

What can we say about our little Rizzo...she is truly special - the smallest one of everybody (she looks a little like a mouse at times!) but she has the biggest personality! She isn't afraid of anything or anybody and will arch her back and stare down anyone bigger than she is! She is a true alpha-cat and will challenge other cats (and dogs and racoons and groundhogs and...!) who get in her way. She gets along great with those who back down, and she will certainly rule the roost when she is old enough. She is a unique and special girl who has so much to offer - she will be a treasure to the family who adopts her...
UPDATE: As Rizzo has grown up a litte, she has started to look more womanly. She isn't the smallest anymore and has what you might call a pear-shaped figure, although she is not an overeater whatsoever. She has mellowed as she's grown and finds great pleasure in her long naps. She still plays a lot, but she also seems content to watch the action and observe her more immature siblings. Like Griffey, Jr., she also loves to sleep in the sink, so be sure to put a nice, soft towel in there for her! She is so bright-eyed and smart - we think she knows english better than humans!
